GR 14 draws an unpredictable line through the Belgian Ardennes from north to south. The trail is an endless source of discoveries if you like deep forests, wide open panoramic views, river valleys and quiet rural villages.
You only really get to know the Ardennes... on foot!

A quiet country hike with lots of unpaved paths and variation between woods and open landscapes. Wide open views along the way.

Up to the sources of the Eastern Ourthe river... in Ourthe. Then GR 57 enters the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and crosses the crestline between the Meuse and the Rhine basins.
This is an easy, quiet and nice walk, but with a lot of hardened roads.

The Belgian long distance walking path GR 57 has always been one of the most popular trails in Wallonia. The path follows the river Ourthe valley and then enters the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The trail isn't always that easy and may become quite adventurous at times.

A hike to like! Admire the Warche valley from the Falize Rock. Follow the Amblève river up to Stavelot. Enjoy the panoramic views and descend towards Trois-Ponts after a long climb.
The Ardennes at their best!
